YAY!!! It's today! Bloggy Giveaways day!!!! Hurray!!!!

Welcome! This is my brand new baby blog for my brand new soon to be closed Etsy shop - Tadpoles and Twilight.

I am giving away $20 worth of merchandise from my shop - and I am tossing in free shipping in the USA -- International winners are ok - but I will ask you to pay shipping (sorry!)

The skinny -- to win - go to my Etsy shop - look around. Tell me what you like - tell me what you would order if you win (I won't hold you to it!). Also if you would be so kind - tell me what you would like to see in the shop IF I could stay open after the Feb 9th.

WHAT? You don't know what I'm talking about - please check it out HERE - February 10 a far reaching and OVERREACHING law goes into effect that will shut down all of you favorite children's crafters. In fact - if any of us have untested items in our shops after the (9th - we will be violating the law and Etsy's terms of use. So, after you have entered all you favorite giveaways - write, call and generally irritate you congress-people - so we will still be here.

I will choose a winner with a random number generator Saturday Jan 31. The winner will then have until February 6th to pick a prize (So I can have it out by the 9th!)

    Your stuffed food items are all adorable, I would love to have any of them.

    However, I was not leaving a comment just for that. I would like to thank you very much for bring my attention to the CPSIA, I had not heard anything about it! Since I came across your site I've spent 12 hours reading about it and, may I saw, my jaw is on the floor. The implications of this law are far reaching. My husband is an avid comic book collector, he also does shows where he sells collectible & vintage comics and comic related items. Sounds like this law just put him out of business.

    And can I just say how incredibly ridiculous it is that this law was even conjured up, LET ALONE passed?! I can't believe it. Actually I can believe it, which makes it even worse...Grr!

    I love the Old Gold Necklace, it's really beautiful. I'd love to see more necklaces, they are my addiction just like some peoples shoe addiction lol

    I've petitioned that law on two different petitions and written out letters in the last couple of weeks. I really hope they listen to us.

    I don't run an etsy shop or sell any items that I make, but this law will affect consumers too. unless you can shell out thousands for handmade items or give in and only purchase mass produced items from big corporations. That law really stinks.

    First of all, I am very sorry about this law that is going into effect, we are losing alot of talented artists from this :(

    I like a lot of the earrings especially the pretty little flower ones...In regard to that law...I would stay with the jewelry or make the blankets a little bigger and offer them for children over 12...make sure you list it that way...this is how manufacturers got away with not putting flameretardant on pj's...they listed the items as not meant for sleeping and then if the people choose to sleep in them that was their responsibility......thank you for participating in the giveaway...Carol Jo

    Make blankets slightly bigger and market them as lounge blankets.
